Saw my first Wood Sandpiper for the season at the Imanpa Community sewage pond overflow. Imanpa is a community to the north of the road that leads to Uluru. It still had some breeding plumage. The earliest I had previously seen Wood Sandpipers was 30 July at Kupungarri Aboriginal Community in the Kimberley.
