Red-necked crake in central Cairns

I was lucky enough to stay at Cairns Novotel Oasis Resort about two weeks ago 
for four nights.  Every morning (before 9 am) and evening (after dark) we were 
able to view red-necked crake (up to 2) wandering through garden beds (eastern 
side) within hotel grounds.
