I think many of us have similar local issues Tim and there seems to be a
great lack of data in this country. Some time ago I tried to get some data
on the sales figures for the 4 main field guides to give at least a rough
estimate of the number of people who were sufficiently interested to buy a
guide (and of course many of us have more than one, but some people would
have very old editions not covered by new sales figures, so it would have
been a start) - but no joy. Must resurrect the attempt......
