Laughing Gull -Cairns

I have seen the Gull the last 2 mornings. On both occasions (around 0730 hrs) it was bathing with Silver Gulls in the 'freshwater' outlet that runs under the Boardwalk immediatley at the end of Aplin St.

I also saw a pair of Stone Curlews in the vacant block of land on the cnr of Lake St and Aplin St. They were within a metre of the fence froze perfectly for a photo.
