Hi Folks:

I have been gathering on the web from other websites that earlier in the
winter or perhaps even now that Budgie numbers have swelled because of the
wet season and are now breeding in abundance. I was wondering if any of my
Aussie mates here have witnessed this and where please.

The most abundant numbers I saw when I was working on my parrots of
Australia doco occured at Bowra Station
www.polytelismedia.wordpress.com

However I saw no evidence of breeding and since I have bred hundreds of
budgies in my aviary in Canada for years I easily recognize chicks that are
fully flighted and are yet to have their first moult. I saw none of these
but plenty of adult females in peak breeding condition as well as many who
were not. Also some great looking adult males but no young males.

Thanks for you imput!

Cheers!

Don
