They look like Common Terns, black shoulder bar.

Subject: Help with Commic Tern ID
Hi All,
Is there any Tern experts out there that can help me with identification
of a couple of Commic Terns.
Photos were taken on 2 separate days, at Flat Rock Ballina (NSW Far
North Coast), earlier this week.
Each day, it was the only bird of this type & it doesn't appear to be
the same bird each day. They were about Common Tern size.
I've studied my field guides, & my best guess is they're both
White-Fronted Tern, but as I've never seen one before, I'm not
confident.
If anyone can put a positive ID on the Terns, & give me some brief
reasons, identification pointers, that would be great.
Hopefully you can find 3 photos at the following link.
