Hi all,

my brother and I are staying at our granparents 1000ha property 10km NE of Coonabarabran for the first week of the school holidays and I was hoping to get onto some species that have eluded me so far in the area. I'll probably make a trip to the west Pilliga and maybe the Warrumbungles, but I was wondering if anyone on the list knows of any other good spots around I haven't heard of.

Here's a list of my target species and any info or ideas on where I might be able to find any of them would be greatly appreciated.

- Crested Bellbird
- Spotted Bowerbird
- Chestnut-rumped Heathwren
- White-winged Fairy-wren
- Turquoise Parrot
- Pale-headed Rosella
- Superb Parrot

I have the bird routes of Baradine brochure so I have a fair ideaof where to find the bowerbird, Turq and Superb parrot but any extra info as I said would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Max Breckenridge,
Gladesville, Sydney...
