Dear All,

Looks like the Shooters Party Bill to allow shooting in NSW National Parks will be postponed till September, although it will still be 24th June when Parliament resumes on 1st September. Confused? See: http://www.smh.com.au/national/labor-bolts-the-door-on-mps-20090625-cy9g.html for the details of how one Minister can make time stand still. Also it seems that the Premier and Deputy-Premier are not happy about the Bill and appear to oppose it.

With all the goings on at all levels of Government at the moment, I feel rather like a minor character in the Marx Bros' movie "Duck Soup". Actually I think Rufus T. Firefly could run the country better, or at least the jokes would be better.

Cheers,

Carl Clifford
