Gooday birders Had a quick look late this overcast afternoon over The Spit off the Stockton Bridge near Newcastle, NSW, with incoming tide. 28 Avocets, 38 Pelicans, about 200 Bar-tailed Godwits, 5 Pied Stilts, a couple of Silver Gulls, about 20 Gull-billed Terns and a few Caspian Terns.
