Of particular interest to Australian birders but not mentioned in Geoff's
report, presumably because he didn't personally see it, is that according to
the official log, a dark morph Collared Petrel was seen in Australian waters
near Norfolk Island on 21 March. This follows at least three previous
reports from that area. I have contacted the cruise leaders for more
information as no records of that species has yet been accepted in
Australia. Apparently Geoff was the only Australian aboard.
