Ironic that we have laws which prevent an activity that may disrupt birds' activities, including nesting, and may cause distress or even mortality to a few birds per year, but we have few laws that prevent destruction of birds' habitat on the largest scale, resulting the deaths of thousands of birds and the long-term decline in many species numbers, and those we have are hardly enforced. -- John Leonard Canberra Australia www.jleonard.net "I rejoice that there are owls."
