Hello! My name is Heidi, and I will be visiting Syndey from the US for the
first two weeks in July. The primary focus of the trip is my brother's
wedding, but I'm hoping to squueze in as much birding as possible in between
doing "wedding stuff". I'm a decent birder, and I've worked as bander (I
think you call them ringers?) but am completly unfamilar with Austrailian
birds. I'm a college student, so I can't afford to hire a guide service.

Can anyone recommend:
1. Birding spots near Sydney accessible by public transit?
2. A field guide
3. Rainforest within a day's drive. (I have a few free days at the end of my
trip, and I can probably hire a car).

Happy Birding!
Heidi Black
