Hi all - well another new one for me today at Mistral Point. A White-Headed Petrel from about 600m to 700m, going south. Long-winged pterodroma, all grey wings (under and upper), white belly and white head. Also seen dozens of Black-Browed, 3 Yellow-Nosed and 1 Shy Albatross, +10 Northern Giant Petrel. No brown shearwaters, Fluttering or prions today. A bit odd has been the dearth of Wandering Albatross this winter. Wind was strong easterly with no rain. Cheers, Graham =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
