Dear All,Something that might be of interest to Mac users out there. I have just come across a Dashboard widget called "Species Distribution Map". You type in a species, plant, animal, etc., and the widget links though to and interrogates the databases at Global Biodiversity Information Facility, and brigs up a distribution map for the species. I have had a quick play with it and it appears to beO>K>, but still a work in progress, with some species not coming up with a map. I don't know if there is a widget for that other operating system, Curtains, or whatever it is called, but I suppose there is a possibility.
