Gooday all again Just had a thought. Is it possible a person is using something like a water pistol to squirt blue dye onto the birds. White Ibis a easily approached in some areas. GL ____________________________ White ibis might dye very easily with food colouring - one would have to stop them preening the colour out while the dye set - brown sparrows less so. I have brown hair and would have loved to have blue hair on occasion - unfortunately to get the blue to show at all the original colour has to be bleached out. Although feathers are not hair, specifically not my hair, I suspect the same would hold true (although anyone wanting to use food dye to re-colour a sparrow might be able to make an interesting experiment). :-) cheers storm =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
