Hello all,
There have been some great sightings on both Cocos and Christmas
Island over the last fortnight.

JAVAN POND HERON X 2 still on West Island.
ASIAN KOEL  Juv male on Home Island.
CHINESE POND HERON at LB3 on CI.
MACRONYX YELLOW WAGTAIL on CI.
WHISKERED TERN X 2 at LB3 possibly Northern Hemisphere birds.
LITTLE RINGED PLOVER on CI.

Latest news from Ian McAllan who is on CI now. He has found a yet to be
identified 'warbler' calling near the noodle house.  Not a Great, Clamorous or
Pallas's and most likely something new for Australia.

Cheers
Richard Baxter
