Hi all,
Many thanks to a number of people that gave me reports and updates and advice to my recent RFi for this bird! Especially this afternoon Lindsay and Keith Fisher's report gave me the impetus to have another go after a couple of failed attempts this week and no reports for over 10 days. Thanks also to John Seale who i saw down on the Esplanade a couple of times this week and who picked it up in his scope for me this afternoon at around 5:30pm! i was then able to get alot closer as it rested on the mud at the far southern end in front of the pool. Very easy to pick up - alot greyer than the surrounding silver gulls. Got a few photos but nothing marvellous as it was a little far away on the oozy mud. I'll post them on my website when i get a chance (hopefully next week)
Thanks again to everyone!

Cheers from a very happy David Stowe :)
