Greetings Alan et al Yes, I bought my Zeiss binoculars [actually two pairs, one for me, another pair for Fay] in a similar manner. My brother was working in Pittsburgh at the time so we had the bins sent to him and collected them personally when we visited a few weeks later [part of a North American birding trip]. It may no longer be accurate but back in those dark and dim days the two pairs cost me more or less what I would have paid for one pair in Australia.
