Sad news just reached me that Peter Them, a regular contributor to Birding-aus, died on March 9 back home in Denmark. Peter was an expert and a great enthusiast on parrots, and had huge number of contacts all over the world. He came to Australia and New Guinea several times and would be known to quite a few folks. He had a lengthy career with Scandinavian Air Services, and his enthusiastic contributions to parrot conservation will be much missed. Condolences to his wife Ebba who came on some of his trips. I apologize if this has already come up and I have missed it.
