This reminded me that I meant to report a sighting of a Rose robin in the Field of Mars reserve, northern Sydney last Sunday. A lovely sighting and the first time I have seen one there.

Hi All,
First ROSE ROBIN and GOLDEN WHISTLER this morning. WHITE PHASE GREY GOSHAWK around for three days, calling from the top of a dead eucalypt. Four sightings of PAINTED BUTTON-QUAIL over the last 2 weeks, two at the bottom of Mayfair Rd, two in gardens around our house. GANG-GANG COCKATOOS up Mayfair Rd. March was a great birding month, eighty species. Just like the old days.
