Hi all,

I've just received a report of a Brown Honeyeater seen at Kamarooka
(David Kleinert), part of the Greater Bendigo National Park. For a
photograph see http://www.eremaea.com/ and select Birdline Victoria /
Birdline Australia. This follow up a possible bird seen by Simon Starr
at Kamarooka in July last year.

There seems to be an abundance of honeyeaters at Kamarooka, with others
including White-fronted, Purple-gaped, Yellow-plumed, White-plumed,
Brown-headed, Tawny-crowned, White-eared, Yellow-tufted, Yellow-faced
and Fuscous.

Swift Parrot also seem to have returned to Victoria, with birds seen at
Northcote and Camberwell in the last couple of days.

Cheers,

Tim Dolby
