Wendy, I reckon the best place in Singapore if you are limited by time 
(assuming you have the best part of 1 day) is Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve with 
is on the other side of the Island from Changi Village - it would take about 
1.5hrs to get there - let me know if you would like detailed directions / 
information...here's the web link for the time being - its great for 
Kingfishers!
