Morning everyone
Three things ....
1. Congratulations to Sean Dooley for a 100% record this morning on
Squawkback (birding talk-back show on 3RRR, Thursday mornings at 8.15).
Once a month Sean's fantastic radio show opens up to callers - mostly
people with questions about what they've seen in their backyards.
Today not only did Sean answer every question with ease and authority,
but he even told the guy with a Hobby in his back yard that there was
a pair breeding in his suburb at the moment!
An impressive "display" ... well done, Dools!
2. AFL season opens tonight so if anyone wants to join the Birding-Aus
footy tipping competition, it is running again. Just go to:

We don't have cash prizes, just that warm inner glow of thrashing
other birders in something less important than twitching!
