Hi All, the Southport Pelagic for last Saturday was called off at the wharf due
to high winds and seas. Some of us then went down to Pt. Danger near the border
where, at Snapper Rocks there was a Wandering Tattler snoozing on a rock at
high tide, oblivious to the dozens of surfers and fishermen all around him. In
fact there was a carnival going on with a fair bit of noise and activity. It's
also amazing with the numbers of Eastern Water Dragons at this maritime site,
they are very dark coloured for this species, no doubt matching the dark basalt
rock. The March pelagic will now be held on this coming Saturday (28th) with a
few spots now open. Cheers - Paul W.
