On Saturday morning I arrived at Truganina swamp, Altona, and found that the usual flock of approx. 200 x Cheastnut and Grey Teal had swelled to , as far as I could estimate, somewhere between 300 and 400 hundred. This area is safe from shooting so may be word had spread through the teal grape-vine!
