Hi all,

Anyone have any idea how long the Yellowlegs might hang around? When is
such a vagrant wader likely to migrate?

I'll be in Harrington for the first week of the school holidays (11-17
April), still three weeks away, but if the Yellowlegs is still around
I'll make my way up to Jerseyville to try for it. (I already have Ken's
phone number.)

I think (based on archive search) that last year it wasn't seen after
about 5 February (due to much rain?) so not much of an indication.

Also, does anyone know when other migrants like Spectacled and
Black-faced Monarchs are likely to leave the Harrington area?

Grateful for any comments.

Harvey
