Well, that is a fine example of on-line poll rigging. It
certainly shows how spurious on-line polls can be. All they
show is that a certain percentage of respondents agree or
disagree with the question posed. What next, a poll asking if
drunkenness is an acceptable defence for murder or rape? I am
sure that could be rigged just as easily.
I often wonder, when looking at results of on-line or ring-in
polls, if there is any way that staff in the organisations
running the polls can "adjust" the polls to reach a desired result in
such polls.
