Hi Greg. Just spent an hour googling a heap of photos of both species. My bet
is brush cuckoo. Have seen immature pallid and i don't think your bird is
putting out the right vibe for a pallid cuckoo. Of course immature cuckoos
being immature cuckoos i could be so wrong. I found one myself on the weekend
that has me absolutely stumped. The blasted bird just didn't look like any i
have seen or can find in guides, pictures or the net....Regards John
