Pat Noisy Miners moved into our local park (Box Hill, Vic) several years ago but the Red and Little Wattlebirds still inhabit our back yard. The Noisy Miners occasionally visit the back yard but generally stay in the park and the front gardens of the houses facing the park. Interestingly, I have observed both Red and Little Wattlebirds foraging in the park in recent weeks. The Red Wattlebirds don't forage on the ground as they used to before the Noisy Miners arrived.
