Hi, Rob Hynson and I had the following highlights in the area around Pitt Town/Scheyville NP: 6+ White-throated Needletails 2 longish slender Apus-type swift quickly flying by - most likely Fork-tailed Swifts 2 Square-tailed Kites (looked like a pair; the drabber one caught and ate a Noisy Miner) 1 interesting female Collared Sparrowhawk moulting its outer tail feathers many Little Lorikeets 2 female Scarlet Honeyeaters 3+ Brown-headed Honeyeaters 2 Jacky Winters One negative highlight: a Red Fox Cheers, Nikolas ---------------- Nikolas Haass Sydney, NSW =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
