Certainly looks like scaly-leg mite to me. Wash the feet in warm soapy water, lift off any loose scales, dry, and then smother in vaseline or petroleum jelly. You can add a little teatree or eucalyptus oil to the jelly, or simply use chest rub, but the latter is not advisable in hot weather as it can burn. Paul Osborn |
