Hi all

For those that are interested I saw an Australian Pratincole in Newcastle this afternoon. This was subsequently seen by a few others. The bird is to the East of Wagtail way on Ash Island (ie as you look towards the Railway line). It was around 50M left of where the Pelicans and Stilts normally roost.

As far as I am aware this is only the second record for the Hunter Valley, after the first in 2003.
