Thanks to all who gave me intersting feedback on the Apostlebirds status in Brisbane.

Albeit rare they appear to have been a colony in the Anstead area for some years, also at Mt Crosby, and not far from Brisbane in the Samford area a few years ago.

And the recent loner at the airport is particularly interesting, though one would think he's got some mates with him as well.

Perhaps a species moving closer to the coast?
