Just back from Oman and the UAE, so i went to Palm Cove yesterday and
dipped on the Laughing Gull in about 30 minutes spent there.
The male Cassowary has reappeared after his latest breeding attempt,
sadly again without any chicks. We now have the male and female
passing by on most days.
Red-necked Crakes are vocal and have young, i saw an adult with 2
juveniles from the deck yesterday.
Pied Monarchs, Yellow-breasted Boatbills and Cicadabirds are still
very vocal, and the Lesser Sooty Owl was calling well on Jan 27.
