g'day list readers

There are reports of WTNT's around Sydney at Ryde, Chatswood, Ashfield and Arcadia for example. Those from the Central coast so far this season include sightings at: Bateau Bay, Mangrove Mtn, Narara, and Wamberal Lagoon, but as you say Michael - none from Avoca!

Most sightings I have gleaned or been sent so far this season are from Qld. If there are fewer birds in total, maybe they do not have to forage over all Australian Forests - particularly in the southern half of the continent.

Happy swift watching
(& if you find any please let me know - thank you)

Cheers

Mike

White-throated Needletails (WTNTs ) under summer stormclouds are usually as regular as sunburn during our Christmas break at Avoca Beach, but not a
one seen this year despite plenty of cumulo-nimbus. Where are they?
