Hi Greg,The reporting of Wandering Tattlers at Hastings Point by Tobias is correct. I camp on the headland around New Year, and have done for 4 years, and they are always there. I see them everyday although I have never seen more than 6 at once and am surprised that he saw 12. I would have been there when Tobias saw his birds. I am going there tomorrow, by chance, and will carefully count the numbers. I will send you a photo taken around New Year to your email address. Around New Year there were about 30 Grey-tailed Tattlers next to one of the lakes just north of Ballina. Regards, Barry Davies, Gondwana Guides. =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
