Help with a wader ID please

I took photos of a wader at Tomato Lake in Perth last year. A young  
bird, my ID was a young Marsh Sandpiper. I have one birder suggesting  
it is a young Black-winged Stilt? Or perhaps something else?
I would certainly appreciate some feedback from forum members
