Hi Folks This earlier report came to me via a non-birding friend. They gave me the phone number of the person they know who said they had seen it. I have left several messages but got no response. I followed up with the friend last night. I suspect this was a non-record and therefore withdraw the possible sighting. A number of people have been to look but its a big dam and apparently was seen from a kayak while inspecting for weeds. None have seen the wagtail If I hear any more about this I will put it back on Birding Aus.
