Hi All,I just got news from Richard today on Cocos that a Blue Rock-Thrush is
currently flitting around the buildings near the jetty on Home Island, Cocos
(Keeling) Islands. He and his group spent the day there looking for the
Dark-sided Flycatcher that was on the island, but has now departed. While
searching for the flycatcher they found the Thrush and also an Asian Koel.I
believe the Blue Rock-Thrush is the second only record for Australia and Asian
Koel is another very rare species.Cheers,Inger Inger Vandyke Natural History
