This is what I found http://www.dlra.org.au/ref-government.htm The night parrot GEOPSITTACUS OCCIDENTALIS, rated as Nationally endangered, was sighted late last century near Murnea Rockhole less than 1 km from the western shore of Lake Gairdner.
