Dear Birders

I am a UK birder seeking any current 'reliable' locations for the above two
species please.  I am visiting NSW (&VIC?) for 3 weeks shortly and am planning
a route taking in places such as Barren Grounds to begin with then Chiltern and
finally towards the end Capertee.  This is my 9th birding trip to Australia so
I am very keen to see these two this time.  Two years ago I heard Pilotbird a
couple of times but only in completely inaccessible places- are they still
being seen at Barren Grounds near the entrance?  I realise that Regent
Honeyeaters are not too reliable this time of year compared with earlier on in
the year which is probably why I didn't see them in 2006.  I note that you now
have an introduced (re-homed I presume) population at Chiltern- are these
easier than at Capertee?  I have not visited Chiltern so far though and haven't
located very much recent information.
Any information would be very welcome please either direct or on your main
website.
Thank you
Matthew Rodgers UK
