Hi Matz,
I am sure you will hear from some SA and VIC birders. I can only comment on
Adelaide Rosella which I had in downtown Adelaide (although Eastern Rosella
appeared to be way more common there) and Koala. Recently I had 28 Koalas along
Great Ocean Road in one day (24 of which in Otway NP along the second half of
the road down to Cape Otway).
Good luck,
Nikolas

Subject: [Birding-Aus] Adelaide and Hattah
Hello,
We are 3 birdwatchers from Sweden visiting Australia in January.
We would need some help on sites at Adelaide and Hattah and where to find some
birds as Hooded Plover, Malleefowl, Adelaide Rosella and Mallee Emu-wren.
If you know any good site where to find koalas between Adelaide and Sydney it
is also much appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.
Matz Jonson

Don't assume that two birds can't fly into a window at the same time.
At my house, two rufous whistlers (a male and a female) flew into a window,
fortunately not killing themselves, just knocked themselves silly. After R & R
they flew off.
I guessed it may have been a 'sexual' chase that caused the accident, but it
could have been territorial - or who knows what else? Do birds play chasey or
tag? ;-)
