Hi Rob,
"reliable" is not really an adjective that goes with Blue-winged
Parrots! We've had them on South Bruny Island, in the Meehan Range,
just East of Hobart, around Cambridge airfield, along Seven Mile Beach
Road, between Stanley and Smithton in the North West, and in the heath
around Arthur River, on the West Coast. They're pretty generally
widespread, but always fairly thinly spread.
Good Luck!

I'm on Tasmania for a few days in late November for a Pelagic trip
and was wondering if anyone knows of any reliable sites for blue-
winged parrots on the island (preferably near Hobart) but if not
anywhere.
Thanks
Kind regards
