Hi All, There a quite a few South Eastern Australian birds that I haven't yet seen and that includes the Chestnut-rumped Heathwren. I will visiting Melbourne from 20 November to 10 December and would like to see it if possible. Does anyone have a good location where this species has been seen recently? I am also hoping to see the Painted Snipe at Edithvale if stays around, the Lewin's Rail at Altona if the water level is right, some dry land specialities in north-west Victoria if the fires haven't destroyed their habitat and possibly the Lesser Yellowlegs in NSW. Thanks to those posting their sightings on Birding-aus.
