Its nearing that time of year again with the 3rd annual Australian Birdfair
being held November 14-16. The venue for Birdfair 2008 is the Murrumbidgee
Rural Studies Centre near Yanco approximately 5km south of Leeton.
The 2008 Celebrity Lecture will be given by Stephen Moss , from the UK 's BBC
Natural History Unit, titled "An Evening Without Bill Oddie", and Dr Lynda
Chambers will present the Australian Birdfair Address, "What we do (and don't)
know about climate change and Australia's birds and how you can help"
Sean Dooley is returning for Birdfair 2008, and has more entertaining episodes
in store.
Together with the now established Birdfair events, we have this year introduced
the "Australian Birdfair Art and Photography Competition and Exhibition" which
has $3000.00 in prize money.
