That's OK, as long as the viewing from outside the hide is not likely
to disturb to bird to the point where it leaves the area!

Based on last nights viewing, the hide can be more of a hinderance
than a help at times. The bird was clearly visible once I got out
of the car and walked over to where about 15 others were looking at
it through the fence. On bright person even brought a ladder so
that the bird could be seen without the chain mesh being in the way.

Hi Jacqui
Just wanted to thank you and the other volunteers for the extra hours
you are putting in to keep the hide open. Last night when I dropped in
it was fairly busy in the hide, but people were generally keeping
quiet. The Snipe moved out for a little while, still under cover, and
gave us great unobstructed views from the carpark.
Anyway - thanks for the great work you do all the time as volunteers,
but especially for the extra opening times at the moment.

Painted Snipe. People are gaining excellent photos from the hide,

Wednesday evenings, 6pm to 7.30pm, until the water dries out too
much.
