Hi Ross, We were at Bowra last week and it's teeming with birds. As Julie says, thousands of Budgies which come swooshing in to roost each evening by the lake, plenty of Cockatiels, and of course Hall's Babblers. We also saw Painted and Black HEs and had wonderful close views of Bourke's Parrots sitting quietly in the Gidgee Trees. There were Brolgas on the river. Ian will point you in the right direction. Ask him about the discovery of the Babbler. It's fascinating. We saw 99 spp on the property in two days. It's a wonderful place with diverse habitats and they've had good rains.
