Hi All, 

First time poster, long time lurker...

Found a Painted Snipe at a pretty plain little farm dam near Dubbo on
the weekend during the NSW Twitchathon.  

It was one of the many locally rare species we recorded.  Reaching 137
was pretty good going given we only targeted areas within 50km of Dubbo.
Others included Magpie Geese, Gilbert's Whistler, Black Chinned HEs and
a Square-Tailed Kite.  There were Black Honeyeaters throughout the
Goonoo - first time I've seen them there.
