For those that missed the Conversation Hour interview on ABC Radio, it's now
streamed online at:

Ecologist Prof. David Lindenmayer (ANU) was interview first and then I come in
after about 20 minutes. (The whole hour is worth listening to, but you can
scroll forward if you like). I did managed to stick the boot-in a couple of
times at the NSW teams (read Eric the Esky). Good fun.
Remember 'Chasing Birds' is on tonight on ABC 1.
Good luck with the NSW Twitchathon this weekend. I reckon you'll need to break
(a leg) the NSW state record again if you plan to win the national race. I
personally think Victoria's looking good for a national win!

Well we are feeling kinda hopeless up here...hopeless at conceding anything to
you Vics this weekend!
We realise that you guys will have an extra week to prepare your twitch routes
but with glorious weather forecast for NSW this weekend combined with decent
rains on the north-west slopes and well-behaved Crimson Chats about the place,
it should be a good weekend for the NSW teams. And under the National Thon
rules we will need it! Our average has soared over the past few years but we
have no intentions of letting it slip.
I have been doing a string of interviews for the ABC and have another 5 or so
to go yet. Head Woodswallow, David Geering, has a few more to do as well, along
with Liz Crawford of the Hunter Thickheads...I can't keep up - check your local
guides!
