Hi all
I don't know if any of you have been following the odyssey of the 2 British
Birders who are trying to break the world record for species seen in a year.
The website with details of their travels is at: http://thebiggesttwitch.com/

They have just reached Australia & their 1st Aussie report is of a lightning
trip to SW WA (Cheyne Beach) has a delightfully casual mention of a Noisy
Scrubbird - I sent them a note observing that they are notoriously hard to see.

They have about 280 species to go to crack the record of 3662 in a year - so
it's highly likely that an Aussie bird will be the record breaker.

They are raising money for Ecuadorian Cloud Forests as they go.

Cheers
Tom Wilson
